Responsibilities:

Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development.

Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management strategies to foster respect and cooperation among children.

Requirements:

DCF 45 hours, CDA, Early Childhood Education
Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting; prior classroom experience is essential.
Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and behavior management techniques.
Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and literacy education strategies.
Certification in early childhood education or related fields; Montessori certification is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members.
Ability to lead classroom activities confidently while maintaining a nurturing environment for diverse learners.
