Job Overview:
We are seeking passionate and energetic Lead Daycare Teachers to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating a safe, engaging, and educational space for children to explore, learn, and grow. Your leadership will guide classroom activities, develop age-appropriate curricula, and foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members. Duties:
- Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles across various domains such as literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
- Lead classroom activities that promote childhood development, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques to support diverse learning needs.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality childcare and classroom management standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support their welfare through regular updates and parent-teacher meetings.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Manage classroom environments effectively to foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills.
- Incorporate Montessori methods or other specialized educational approaches as appropriate to enhance early childhood education experiences.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories, special education needs, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop engaging curricula that include literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and community partners.
- Prior experience in preschool or private school environments is preferred.
- Certification in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable; Montessori certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring methods for young learners.
